Sarangkot Sunrise and Pokhara's Five Himalayan Viewpoints

Early Morning Drive to Sarangkot Viewpoint No day in Pokhara is complete without witnessing the breathtaking sunrise from Sarangkot Viewpoint. Keeping this in mind, the Five Himalayan Viewpoints Tour begins with an early morning drive to Sarangkot. Located at an altitude of 1,600 meters above sea level, Sarangkot offers one of the best sunrise views in Nepal, along with spectacular panoramas of the Annapurna Range and Machhapuchhre (Fishtail Mountain). You will spend some quality time at the viewpoint tower, enjoying the golden hues of sunrise before continuing to the next destination. Next Stop: Dhampus Village Viewpoint After Sarangkot, the tour continues toward the charming Gurung village of Dhampus. Upon arrival, you'll be welcomed by stunning views of snow-capped peaks, rolling hills, and traditional village houses nestled into the landscape. Take time to explore the village, interact with locals, ask your guide questions, and enjoy local delicacies. Dhampus Viewpoint offers panoramic views of numerous peaks from the Annapurna and Manaslu ranges, along with mesmerizing scenery of terraced farms, lush vegetation, and peaceful rural life. Next Stop: Kahu Dada Viewpoint Following your visit to Dhampus, the journey proceeds to Kahu Dada Viewpoint, another popular scenic spot located at an altitude of 1,414 meters. This viewpoint provides a stunning aerial view of Pokhara City and Phewa Lake. You can also enjoy close-up views of the Annapurna range, especially as the mountain colors subtly change with the shifting daylight. You'll spend 1 to 2 hours here sightseeing and relaxing before heading toward Anadu Dada. World Peace Pagoda (Shanti Stupa - Anadu Dada) Pokhara is home to one of the World Peace Pagodas, also known as Shanti Stupa. This sacred monument is renowned for its peaceful atmosphere and commanding views of Phewa Lake, Pokhara Valley, and the surrounding hills. Founded on September 12, 1973, by Nichidatsu Fujii with relics of Lord Buddha, the Peace Pagoda is a perfect place to escape city noise and enjoy tranquility. After spending some peaceful moments here, the tour continues to its final destination. Pumdikot Dada - Final Viewpoint Just an 11-minute drive from the World Peace Pagoda, Pumdikot Dada is the last stop of the Five Himalayan Viewpoints Tour. Famous for housing one of the tallest statues of Lord Shiva, this hilltop offers a spiritual and scenic experience. You'll often see Hindu pilgrims visiting the site for worship. Along with its religious significance, Pumdikot provides majestic views of the Annapurna range and a distant glimpse of the World Peace Pagoda. After spending time here, your guide will escort you back to your hotel, marking the end of this unforgettable tour.
