Petra Day Trip by Ferry from Sharm El Sheikh
You will be picked up from your hotel in Sharm el Sheikh around 23:30 - 00:30 and transferred to Taba by a modern, air-conditioned bus. The journey takes approximately 3.5 hours. Arrive in Taba and meet your guide, who will assist you with the boat transfer to Aqaba. Board the boat and enjoy a scenic cruise across the Red Sea to Aqaba. Upon arrival in Aqaba, your guide will meet you and transfer you to Petra for a full-day visit. Begin your exploration of Petra, the ancient city of the Nabataeans, known for its stunning rock-cut architecture. The entrance to the Siq is a narrow canyon leading into Petra. Walk through the Siq, marvelling at the intricate carvings and rock formations along the way. As you emerge from the Siq, catch your first glimpse of the iconic Treasury, a breathtaking sight that has stood for over 2,000 years. Continue along Facade Street, exploring the Royal Tombs, the Roman Theatre, the Roman Colonnaded Street, and Qasr al-Bint. Enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant in Petra. After lunch, return to Aqaba port and board the cruise back to Taba. Upon arrival in Taba, drive back to your hotel in Sharm el Sheikh. Arrive at your hotel in Sharm El Sheikh around 1:00 am, concluding your unforgettable journey to Petra.
