Petra Discovery by Ferry from Sharm El Sheikh
Pick up from your hotel in Sharm El Sheikh around 23:30 - 00:30 and transfer to Taba by modern air-conditioned bus. The journey takes approximately 3.5 hours. Arrive in Taba and meet your guide, who will assist you with the boat transfer to Aqaba. Board the boat and enjoy a scenic cruise across the Red Sea to Aqaba. Upon arrival in Aqaba, you will be met by your guide and transferred to Petra for a full-day visit. Begin your exploration of Petra, the ancient city of the Nabateans, known for its stunning rock-cut architecture, at the entrance to the Siq, a narrow canyon leading into Petra. Walk through the Siq, marveling at the intricate carvings and rock formations along the way. As you emerge from the Siq, catch your first glimpse of the iconic Treasury, a breathtaking sight that has stood for over 2,000 years. Continue along Facades Street, exploring the Royal Tombs, the Roman Theatre, the Roman Colonnaded Street, and Qasr Al-Bent. Enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant in Petra. After lunch, return to Aqaba port and board the cruise back to Taba. Upon arrival in Taba, drive back to your hotel in Sharm El Sheikh.
