Argolis Day Tour to Corinth, Mycenae, Nafplio and Epidaurus
Pick up from your hotel at 08:30, or from Athens Airport, and make a short stop at the breathtaking Canal of Corinth, with amazing views over its 6 km length and 80 m height. Your next stop is Ancient Corinth, where you will walk the same paths once walked by the famous Apostle Paul. Continue to ancient Mycenae, the centre of Greek civilization and home to the kingdom of the mythical Agamemnon. Visit the Cyclopean Walls, the famous Lion's Gate, and the "Atreus King Tomb". The most relaxing part of the tour comes with your arrival early in the afternoon at one of the most beautiful towns in Greece and the first capital city in modern Greek history - the seaside town of Nafplio. Have a traditional Greek lunch here, then walk along the coast, or visit the Castle of the town with its 999 steps and amazing view, or take a taxi boat to the small island of Bourtzi in the middle of the city's harbour, the fort on the sea and Nafplio's trademark. Afterwards, make your last stop at the Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus, with its 15,000 spectators and breathtaking acoustics. Return to your hotel late in the afternoon. The duration of the tour is about 8-9 hours.
