Itinerary

1Day 01
Fly to Biratnagar and Drive to Taplejung
Fly to Biratnagar in the morning. Upon arrival in Biratnagar, proceed to drive to Taplejung. Utilize the new Tamor Corridor road for a shorter route. The journey is expected to take around 7-8 hours. Arrival in Taplejung (Funglung Bazar).

2Day 02
Drive to Sekhathum and Trek to Lama Tar
Drive to Sekhathum after spending the night at Fungling Bazar. Use a local jeep for the off-road journey to Sekhathum, which is expected to take 3-4 hours. Trek for approximately 2 hours to reach Lama Tar, where accommodation is arranged for the night.

3Day 03
Trek to Thangyam via Amjilesa Village
Embark on a trek to Thangyam, passing through Amjilesa Village along the way.

4Day 04
Trek to Ghunsa via Gyabla
Continue your trek to Ghunsa, covering a distance of 14 km in approximately 6 hours, passing through Gyabla on the way.

5Day 05
Rest Day in Ghunsa with Optional Viewpoint Hike
Enjoy a rest day at Ghunsa, with the option to take a short hike to a viewpoint for breathtaking views.

Trek to Khambachen with Mountain Views
Trek to Khambachen (4130m/10km/6hrs) with stunning views of Mt. Jannu, Kumbakarna, and other surrounding mountains.

Trek to Lonak
Trek to Lonak (4792m/9km/6hrs).

Trek to Pangpema Base Camp and Return to Lonak
Trek to Pangpema B.C. (Kanchanjunga North B.C. 5140m) and back to Lonak (7.7km * 2/10hrs).
