1Day 01
You will have a guided tour at Zaanse Schans with your private local guide who tell you all about the houses, the windmills and the history of this area.Visit the wooden shoe workshop for a demonstration of clog making and see an exhibition about clogs.See a working Industrial windmill from the inside and your guide will tell you all about how it works. You will be able to climb up the stairs to the platform.Visit a cheese farm in the countryside. Here you will visit the stable of the jersey cows and you will receive an explanation about cheese making in the cheese shop where you ca try all the different cheeses as well.After lunch in Volendam, you will walk along the famous dike with the old fishermans harbour on your way to the ferry to the former Island of Marken for a 30 minute boat ride.
