Puno Landmarks and Huajasapata Hill Walk

Meet your tour guide and begin the tour with panoramic views from Huajasapata Hill, a famous viewpoint in Puno. Appreciate the view of the first Inca Manco Capac sculpture, the breathtaking blue waters of Lake Titicaca, and the city of Puno. Head down the streets to see two 600-year-old houses that remain standing to this day as a testament to the strength of civilization. See the baroque-style Puno Cathedral, with its unique architectural details and rock engravings influenced by a mix of local and foreign cultures. Continue walking to the Main Square, which has a beautiful pool in the center and decorations that offer insight into the local culture of Puno. Walk along JR Lima, the city's main street, and continue to the second square where the San Juan Temple is located. Here, you will see the Virgin of Candelaria, the city's patron saint. Peru's largest celebration is held here every February, when thousands of people take to the streets in devotion to her. Stroll along Independence Street toward the Deustua Arch to reach the end of the tour.
