Plateau de Valensole, Moustier-Sainte-Marie and Verdon Gorges
Depart from Aix-en-Provence. Stop at a local farm specializing in olive oil, almonds, and lavender. You can taste olive oil and almonds and learn about the different lavender essential oils. Enjoy many stops along the Plateau de Valensole, so you can take as many photos as you want of the lavender fields, immortelle fields, and sage fields. Free time for lunch in the little hilltop village of Moustier-Sainte-Marie. Drive to the famous Verdon Gorges and Lake Sainte-Croix. Return to Aix-en-Provence.
