Great Ocean Road and 12 Apostles Adventure

We will meet at the car park in front of the IGA SuperMarket, located at 103 Beach Street, Port Melbourne, next to the Beacon Cove Tram/Light rail stop #129 for tram 109 from the city. Alternatively, we can arrange to pick you up at spots along Beach Rd between Brighton and Port Melbourne, such as St Kilda. We'll start our journey by crossing over the Westgate Bridge to Surfcity - Torquay. Our first stop will be Bells Beach, the home of the longest-running surf contest in the world. From there, we'll visit Anglesea, Aireys Inlet, the Memorial Arch, and Teddy's Lookout. For lunch, we'll head to the charming seaside town of Lorne, where there are plenty of dining options. After lunch, we'll travel to Wye River and Kennett River for a walk in the National Park to spot koalas in their natural habitat. We'll then head to Apollo Bay for a famous Dooley's Ice Cream break before finally reaching the 12 Apostles precinct near Port Campbell. Here, we'll climb Gibson's Steps to the beach below, stroll along the boardwalk at the 12 Apostles, and take in the stunning views of Loch Ard Gorge. Finally, we'll return to Melbourne, taking in some fantastic sights, wildlife, and sharing stories along the journey.
