06:15 AM - Hotel to Tribhuvan International Airport TransferOur representative will pick you up early in the morning from your hotel in a private vehicle and transfer you to Tribhuvan International Airport (Domestic Terminal). Upon arrival, you will be assisted with check-in and pre-flight procedures. The domestic terminal is conveniently located close to the international terminal, ensuring a smooth airport experience. 07:15 AM - Takeoff Preparations and Flight BriefingAfter completing security checks, our staff will assist you with luggage handling and boarding pass collection. Prior to departure, the helicopter captain will conduct a comprehensive safety briefing, including instructions on seating, door operation, and emergency procedures. Final clearance is obtained from the airport control tower before takeoff. 07:30 AM - Helicopter Flight to Langtang ValleyYour Langtang Helicopter Tour begins as the helicopter lifts off from Kathmandu and heads north toward the Himalayas. Enjoy stunning aerial views of the Kathmandu Valley surrounded by lush green hills. As the flight progresses, breathtaking Himalayan peaks come into view, including Jugal Himal, Dorje Lakpa, Paldor Peak, Ganesh Himal, Shishapangma, and Langtang Lirung, offering a truly unforgettable mountain panorama. 08:00 AM - Landing at Kyanjin Gompa and ExplorationThe helicopter lands at Kyanjin Gompa (3,950 m), a historic Tamang settlement named after its ancient Buddhist monastery and located within Langtang National Park. The village is surrounded by snow-covered peaks and glaciers, creating a dramatic alpine setting.You will have 20-30 minutes to explore the area, take photographs, visit the monastery, and observe local life. Kyanjin Gompa is also home to Nepal's oldest yak cheese factory, established over 70 years ago by Swiss geologist Toni Hagen. Due to the high altitude, the stop is kept short for safety reasons. 08:30 AM - Return Flight to KathmanduAfter your time in Kyanjin Gompa, the helicopter departs for Kathmandu. On the return journey, enjoy spectacular aerial views of Langtang Valley, Gosaikunda Lake, and traditional villages along the Tamang Heritage Trail. Upon landing at Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be transferred back to your hotel or preferred drop-off location.
