1Day 01
Guwahati or Jorhat to Kaziranga and Jeep Safari
Morning Pickup from your hotel or airport in Guwahati or Jorhat and drive to Kaziranga National Park. Distance & Travel Time From Guwahati: approximately 220 km (5-6 hours) From Jorhat: approximately 95 km (2-3 hours) Enjoy a scenic drive through Assam's tea gardens, villages, and Brahmaputra valley landscapes. Afternoon Arrival at Kaziranga and check-in at a wildlife resort or lodge. After lunch, proceed for a Jeep Safari in the Central Range (Kohora Range) of Kaziranga. Wildlife you may see: Indian One-Horned Rhinoceros Asian Elephants Wild Water Buffalo Swamp Deer Numerous bird species Kaziranga is also home to one of the highest tiger densities in the world. Evening Return to the resort. Optional activities: Village walk around Kaziranga Cultural folk dance program of Assam Tea garden visit nearby Dinner and overnight stay at the resort.

Kaziranga Sunrise Safari Option and Sivasagar Heritage Tour
Early Morning Optional Elephant Safari in Kaziranga for sunrise wildlife viewing (at extra cost). This is one of the best chances to see rhinos and other wildlife up close in the misty grasslands. Return to the lodge for breakfast. Late Morning - Drive to Sivasagar Drive to Sivasagar (approximately 110 km / 3 hours). Sivasagar was the capital of the Ahom dynasty for over 600 years and is filled with remarkable temples and royal monuments. Sivasagar Sightseeing Sivasagar Sivadol One of the tallest Shiva temples in India. Built in 1734 by Queen Ambika. Located beside the large Sivasagar tank. Talatal Ghar A seven-storey palace complex of the Ahom kingdom. It is famous for its secret tunnels and underground passages. It is one of the grandest Ahom monuments. Rang Ghar Asia's oldest surviving amphitheatre. It was used by Ahom kings to watch sports, buffalo fights, and cultural events. Kareng Ghar The royal palace of the Ahom kings. An important historical structure representing Ahom architecture. Afternoon After sightseeing, drive to Jorhat or continue to Guwahati for drop-off. The tour ends with unforgettable memories of Assam's wildlife and royal heritage.
