1Day 01
Lake Toba, Samosir Island and Tomok Village Tour
07.00am: Pick up from your hotel and meet your driver-guide. Proceed on an approximately 4-hour journey to Parapat at Lake Toba via Pematang Siantar, the second-largest city in North Sumatra, passing many rubber and palm oil plantations along the way. 09.00am: En route, stop at Patent Shop to buy local food products such as Teng Teng or Ting Ting. 10.00am: Visit Kwan Im Temple in Siantar. 12.00pm: Arrive in Parapat, a town on the shore of serene Lake Toba. Transfer to a local restaurant for lunch. 01.00pm: After lunch, take a ferry trip across the crystal-clear waters of Lake Toba to Samosir Island. Visit Tomok Village to see the ancient tomb of King Sidabutar.(Groups with a minimum of 14 persons will also visit Ambarita Village.) 04.00pm: Transfer back to Parapat. 05.00pm: Return to Medan. 09.00pm: Arrive in Medan and drop off at your hotel. Tour ends.
