Kathmandu Periphery Sightseeing Tour
Meet your tour representative at your hotel at 09:15 am and drive in a private car with your guide for the sightseeing trip. Offer your prayers at the Tibetan Buddhist Monastery, including Guru Padmasambhaba's meditating cave, in Pharping, and visit the goddess Dakshin-kali shrine situated towards the southern rim of the Kathmandu Valley. See Taudaha natural lake, a historical holy lake famous for bird-watching tours. Visit Chobhar Gorge, from where the entire river system of Kathmandu Valley drains out towards the southern border of Nepal. Finally, explore Kirtipur village, the town of glory situated on a small hillock and home to the Newar ethnic people. You will enjoy a typical Newari lunch in Kirtipur during the tour. After the excursion, you will be dropped back at your hotel.
