1Day 01
Llanganuco Lakes and Cordillera Blanca Scenic Journey
Depart at 9 am from the tour bus station at our office in Huaraz and head north toward the Llanganuco Lakes, located between the mountains of Huascarán and Huandoy. The tour starts in Huaraz. Pass by several typical villages and appreciate the beautiful white mountains of Huandoy, Huascarán, Hualcán, Copa, and others. You can make photo stops at the various viewpoints along the way. Continue to Carhuaz at 2650 masl and Yungay, then begin ascending the dusty road up to the Llanganuco Lakes. Visit Orconcocha Lake and enjoy bird watching at Chinacocha Lake. Here, you may also take part in alternative activities such as sailing in small boats, then continue walking around the area before heading to a typical countryside restaurant for lunch at your own expense. Return the same way to Yungay and then drive back to Huaraz, arriving at around 6 pm at our office.
