Day 01

Bagdwar Hike through Shivapuri Nagarjun National Park

Morning: Drive to Budhanilkantha and start the hike Get picked up from your hotel and take a short 30 to 40-minute drive to Budhanilkantha. Visit Budhanilkantha Temple and see the sacred Sleeping Vishnu statue. Enter Shivapuri Nagarjun National Park and begin your hike. Walk through dense forest trails with stone steps and fresh mountain air. Midday: Reach Bagdwar Continue a gradual ascent through rhododendron and oak forests. Reach Bagdwar, the sacred source of the Bagmati River. Enjoy the peaceful surroundings and take a short rest with a packed lunch. Opt for a further hike toward Shivapuri Peak for wider Himalayan views. Afternoon: Descend and return to Kathmandu Begin your descent along the same scenic trail. Exit the national park and drive back to Kathmandu. Get dropped off at your hotel.
