Overnight Mount Sinai Climb and St. Catherine Monastery Visit
A tour representative will pick you up from your hotel in Sharm El Sheikh at 10:30 p.m. in a modern air-conditioned vehicle for the drive to St. Catherine, which takes about 3 hours. Begin climbing Moses Mountain at 2:00 a.m. and descend at 7:00 a.m. Then proceed to visit St. Catherine Monastery, considered one of the most famous monasteries in the world. It was dedicated to Saint Catherine, who was tortured to death for the sake of her new faith. You can travel daily to Mount Sinai to climb the mountain and see either the sunrise or the sunset from the top of Moses' Mountain. Afterwards, transfer to Dahab for relaxation and time for shopping. Lunch at a local restaurant in Dahab. Then return to your hotel in Sharm El Sheikh.
