Meditation Journey through Varaždin's Natural Landscapes
Morning or afternoon pickup at your hotel. Take a one-hour drive to the first destination - the Drava River just outside of Varaždin. Continue with a 20-minute drive to the second location - Arboretum Opeka. In this mysterious environment, you will be taken "inside" a peaceful cedarwood, where another type of meditation will be explained and practised so that conscious acknowledgement can be achieved of the life force inside that tree. Stop for lunch along the way. Head to the third destination: Ivančica mountain, which got its name after the Order of St. Ivan, the heirs of the Knight Templars' treasures. Walk through the forested mountain for half an hour until reaching a meadow with a stream and a small waterfall, where you will meditate using mindfulness techniques. Proceed to the fourth destination: Vindija cave, famous for being one of the last dwellings of Neanderthals in Europe. Meditating inside the cave, you will experience the earth's energy, which will produce contrast and deepen your understanding of the influences of different types of nature on human consciousness and meditation.
