Krakatoa Volcano Adventure and Rakata Island Snorkelling
Depart from Jakarta at 04:30 AM and drive to Marina Carita Harbour (approximately 3 hours). Enjoy breakfast and a short rest before boarding a speedboat to Krakatoa (around 1.5 hours). Witness the dramatic beauty of Mount Krakatoa, the world-famous volcano known for its massive 1883 eruption, which was heard as far as Madagascar and was 27,000 times stronger than the Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombs. Take a short trek around the island to view the volcanic landscape. Continue to Rakata Island for snorkelling in crystal-clear waters teeming with marine life. Enjoy lunch on the island before returning by speedboat to Marina Carita, and then drive back to Jakarta.
