Sacred Valley of the Inkas Exploration
Early in the morning, we leave Cusco and head to the best viewpoint over the wide Sacred Valley to enjoy beautiful photo opportunities. Then, we continue to the Pisac archaeological site for an average visit of 1 hour. Here, you can appreciate water fountains, a large Inca cemetery, and outstanding farming terraces. After that, we return to Pisac town to walk around several handicraft stores, and then take a car ride to Urubamba for a buffet lunch. Our next stop is Ollantaytambo, where we visit the religious sector of the Inca town to witness impressive rocks at the top of a pyramid, surrounded by water fountains and other special structures. Finally, we return to Cusco, and on the way back, we visit Chinchero, the palace of Tupac Inka Yupanqui, where there are several systems of farming terraces and, among them, Andean temples.
