Callejón de Huaylas, Chinancocha Lagoon and Maria Josefa Trail
Pick up from your hotel in Huaraz at approximately 9:00 a.m. Travel north through the Callejón de Huaylas, between the Cordillera Blanca and the Cordillera Negra, until reaching Huascarán National Park. Pass through Andean villages and admire the beautiful landscapes along the way. Arrive at Llanganuco Ravine and Chinancocha Lagoon. Begin a 1-hour and 30-minute walk along the Maria Josefa trail, renowned for its quenual forests. Enjoy a short guided tour and free time to explore the area. Lunch on your own, followed by a visit to the Campo Santo de Yungay. Return to Huaraz by vehicle. The estimated arrival time back in Huaraz is approximately 6:30 p.m.
