Cape Peninsula Coastal Drive to Hout Bay, Simon's Town and Cape Point
08:30: Pick up from your city hotel by your guide. 08:45: Drive along the coast via Mouille Point and Sea Point. Visit the Sea Point Contact Site, which was visited by Charles Darwin in 1836 during his world expedition. 09:15: Head to Maiden's Cove for views of the Twelve Apostles and Camps Bay. 10:00: Arrive in Hout Bay and visit the craft market. Take a 45-minute return boat trip to Duiker Island African Seal Colony to view the African seals (ticket included). 11:30: Continue via Chapman's Peak Drive, the most amazing and breathtaking scenic coastal drive in Africa. 12:30: Enjoy lunch at a restaurant in Simon's Town overlooking the harbour. 14:00: Stop by the Penguin Colony (optional). 14:30: Proceed to Cape Point and Cape of Good Hope via the coastal road with breathtaking sea views. 17:00: Depart for Cape Town via other scenic routes if time allows.
