Atlas Mountains, Imlil Valley and Berber Village Walk
Pick up from your hotel in Marrakech around 9:00 in the morning for a 1-hour 30-minute drive south to the Moulay Brahim Gorges. Then pass by Asni, where a weekly market takes place every Saturday, and continue towards Imlil (1,740 m). The Imlil Valley lies in the upper foothills of the Western High Atlas Mountains and serves as a main trailhead for trekking tours to Mt. Toubkal and other valleys. After arriving in Imlil, enjoy a welcoming mint tea at a guesthouse. Meet your local guide before embarking on a short hike to the Berber village of Around. Admire the jagged peaks of the Toubkal Massif. Enjoy lunch at a guesthouse in the village, then return to Imlil and Marrakech.
