Day 01

Arrival You’ll be welcomed at East Coast Park, Carpark C4, where the guides will take attendance and check everyone in before the adventure begins. Safety briefing You’ll be fitted with a life vest, given a walkie-talkie, and guided through simple safety and communication tips so you feel confident on the water. We’ll cover how to stay comfortable, paddle as a group, and what to do in case of emergencies. Kayak & fishing lesson You’ll be introduced to your Hobie pedal kayak, with the seat and pedals adjusted for comfort, and shown how to use the pedal-drive system — it’s just like cycling on water, making it stable and easy even for beginners. You’ll also pick up the basics of kayak fishing, including how to handle the Penn saltwater rod & reel, prepare your bait and rigs, and recognise the signs of a bite. Fishing Adventure You’ll head out to a variety of fishing grounds, from seaweed beds and reef patches to buoy foundations and reef edges, where groupers, tuskfish, and snappers thrive. With guides assisting, and sonar and GPS helping to locate fish, you’ll have plenty of chances to hook a catch while improving your technique. Sights & Scenery Between fishing spots, you’ll enjoy unique views of Singapore’s bustling shipping lanes, the iconic Bedok Lighthouse, and the coastal urban skyline of East Coast Park — sights few ever experience from the water. Stories & Learning Throughout the trip, the guides will share stories and insights about Singapore’s waters. You’ll discover more about the fish you catch, their habitats, and the marine ecosystems that support them, making each moment on the water both exciting and enriching. Wrap-up & Refresh To end the adventure, you’ll enjoy an ice-cold drink and a photo shoot on the water to capture the memories. If you’re up for it, you can even take a refreshing swim before heading back to shore.
