Ancient Messene, Corinth Canal and Kalamata
Meet your professional driver, who will pick you up from the agreed location and begin the tour. Stop by the Corinth Canal. It was founded in 369 BC by a Theban general after the Battle of Leuctra, which resulted in the establishment of the Theban Hegemony. The city later became part of a free Messenian state after a long period of occupation by the Spartans. Check out the ruins of the Ancient Messene Stadium. Wander through the city of Kalamata, which is famous for its scenic views and seafront. At the end of the tour, you will be dropped off at your stay.
