Cachoeira, Santo Amaro and São Félix Day Tour
Meet your tour guide at the agreed-upon location to begin the program, then drive to Cachoeira. On the way to Cachoeira, stop in Santo Amaro to visit an interesting and bustling rural market, with its amazing fruits and vegetables and peculiar products. Pass by the Cathedral of Our Lady of Purification and its beautiful square in Santo Amaro. In Cachoeira, take a walk to admire the typical colonial architecture and churches. Stroll along the idyllic Paraguaçu River, one of the most important rivers in Bahia. A good tip is to visit the Rosary Church and discover its wonderful Portuguese tile panels. Lunch can be enjoyed at a colonial farm, where you will have a beautiful view of the river and surroundings (subject to availability), or at a local restaurant in town. After lunch, visit a famous handmade cigar factory in the city of São Félix, across the river. Tour ends.
