Melawati Hill, Fishing Village and Fireflies Experience
Enjoy this nature-based tour from Kuala Lumpur with a late-afternoon departure. Arrive at Melawati Hill, the first point of interest, and take in spectacular views of the Straits of Malacca. See one of the oldest lighthouses in the country and feed the silver-leaf monkey (Silvered langur). Locally called Lutung or Lotong, these adorable creatures are often seen crowding around dustbins or entering kitchens in search of leftover food. After a pleasant monkey-viewing experience, continue to the Chinese fishing village to observe the lifestyle of the local community. Enjoy dinner by the river while watching the sunset. Then take a short drive to a Malay village for a spectacular gondola boat ride to see fireflies. Trip ends.
