Elafonisi Beach, Topolia Gorge and Milia Mountain Retreat
Chania Prefecture/West Crete: The western part of Crete is the most beautiful part of the island. On the way to Elafonisi Beach, you will see constant changes in nature's beauty, from the northern side of the island, where the Aegean Sea lies, to valleys filled with lemon, orange, avocado, and olive trees, before continuing south. We will drive through Topolia Gorge, pass 9 Cretan villages, and finally reach Elafonisi Beach on the Libyan Sea. Elafonisi: At the southwest point of Crete lies one of the most famous beaches in the world. Explore, enjoy the bright sun, swim in the crystal-clear waters, and sunbathe on the reserved sunbeds set aside just for you. Milia Mountain Retreat: After an off-road experience, we arrive here. Time stops in this place: there is no electricity, and the cosy stone houses bring you close to the philosophy of "back to the basics." This authentic 17th-century mountain settlement has been transformed into an eco-friendly tourist complex and is one of National Geographic magazine's top 50 choices worldwide for eco-tourism and agro-tourism. You will spend lunchtime here and enjoy Cretan cuisine with local wine, beer, or homemade soft drinks. Topolia Gorge: The wild scenery of Topolia Gorge is truly worth seeing and is a unique example of wild Cretan nature. Admire the landscape and take plenty of photos. You may also see local mountain goats and watch vultures soaring into the sky from their nests.
