08:00 - Pick-up from your hotel in Johannesburg, Sandton, or Rosebank. Welcome guests, enjoy a tour overview and safety briefing, and get an introduction to Johannesburg and Soweto during the drive. 09:00 - Visit the Apartheid Museum and explore South Africa's journey from apartheid to democracy. Time: 1 hour 30 minutes. 10:45 - Drive past Chris Hani Baragwanath Academic Hospital and hear a brief explanation about one of the largest hospitals in the Southern Hemisphere. 11:00 - Visit the Hector Pieterson Memorial and learn about the 1976 Soweto Uprising. Time: 45 minutes. 11:50 - Walk along Vilakazi Street, the famous street where two Nobel Peace Prize winners once lived. Experience traditional dancers and local arts and crafts, with an optional visit to Mandela House. Time: 1 hour 30 minutes. 13:20 - Lunch at a local restaurant on Vilakazi Street and enjoy authentic South African cuisine. Time: 1 hour. 14:30 - Stop at Orlando Towers for photos and an explanation of the towers and their adventure activities. Time: 20 minutes. 15:00 - Drive past FNB Stadium and learn about the 2010 FIFA World Cup and major national events.
