Day 01

Muyil Ruins, Lagoons, and Ancient Canal Float

10:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. Pick-up from your hotel. 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. Travel to the Muyil Archaeological Site. 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Explore the Muyil Archaeological Site and climb the tallest viewpoint in the reserve (watchtower). Take a leisurely walk through changing ecosystems and lush vegetation. 1:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. Boat trip across the two freshwater lagoons. 2:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. Take a relaxing floating activity in the ancient canal. 5:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Drop-off at your hotel. This itinerary provides more time for each activity, allows for a break to enjoy a snack in a beautiful location, and includes a leisurely walk through the reserve to fully immerse yourself in the natural surroundings. Starting the tour earlier in the day also helps avoid the hottest part of the day and gives you more time to explore.
