Philae Temple, High Dam and Nubian Village

Our tour guide will pick you up from your hotel or Nile Cruise in Aswan to visit Philae Temple. The construction of the Temple of Isis at Philae started during the reign of Ptolemy II and was completed by the Roman emperors. It was dedicated to the goddess Isis, who was considered the mother of the god Horus and the consort of the god Osiris. Then, visit the High Dam, one of Egypt's most significant achievements of the last century. It contains 18 times the material used in the Great Pyramid of Cheops, providing Egypt with water and electricity. After exploring the temple, head to the Nile River, which played an incomparable role in the development of Egyptian civilization. Continue to the Nubian village opposite Soheil Island, close to the Aswan Dam pass. Once there, discover different aspects of traditional life and culture by meeting native people. Return to your hotel.
