Lasifashaj Waterfall, Río Cambaceres and Puerto Almanza
Meet your tour guide at Kaitek Viajes and begin travelling along National Route 3. Cascada Lasifashaj: After travelling 35 km on National Route 3, reach the intersection with Provincial Route J, which takes you another 40 km through the forest, accompanied at all times by the Lasifashaj River. Arrive at Lasifashaj Waterfall and embark on an incredible trek of minimal difficulty toward an imposing canyon and its waterfall, a few kilometres from the confluence of Provincial Routes J and K. (1 hour 30 minutes - admission ticket included) Río Cambaceres: Continue to an energetic enclave where, many years ago, the Selk'nam, Yámanas, and Haush peoples converged and interacted with one another. Here, you will have the possibility of walking toward a confluence of the bay with the sea, where all kinds of vegetation and birds, such as condors, among others, can be seen. Upon returning, enjoy a country snack by the fire, including artisanal chocolates, coffee, tea, milk, hot chocolate, and delicious pancakes roasted over the fire on skewers. A unique experience. (45 minutes - admission ticket free) Puerto Almanza: After the snack, continue to the fishing village of Puerto Almanza. Take panoramic photos and get to know the site. Puerto Almanza is a small fishing village located on the east coast of the Beagle Channel, 75 km from the city of Ushuaia. The name of the place comes from a sawmill that operated in the area during the 1940s and 1950s. Upon arrival, walk through the village, contemplate the beauties of the place, and have your reservation ready to delight in original native dishes on the edge of the Beagle Channel. (30 minutes - admission ticket free) Restaurant in Puerto Almanza: After visiting the town, lunch will be waiting in one of the most picturesque restaurants in Puerto Almanza, on the edge of the Beagle Channel, with some of the best views in the area. Taste Tierra del Fuego spider crab in any of its versions, accompanied by fresh seafood and fish obtained artisanally in the channel. Kaitek Viajes offers tourist menus in the restaurant, already included in the experience, based on local fishing. If you wish, you can also try natural crab served on the plate for an extra cost.
