Kampot Salt Fields, Cave Temple, Lake, and Pepper Farm
Depart from Kampot and visit a large salt-producing facility on the outskirts of the city. Learn about the salt production process and its economic importance. Visit Phnom Chhngok cave temple, climb 203 steps to the entrance, and admire the 7th-century Funan-era brick temple dedicated to Shiva and the scenic views from the cave. Explore Brateak Krola Lake, an artificial lake constructed during the Khmer Rouge era. Enjoy a guided tour of a pepper plantation, learn about the cultivation process, and taste fresh peppercorns. Return to Kampot after the tour concludes.
