The Inner Line Permit can also be arranged on the same day before entering Sikkim.; Any Indian guest holding a foreign passport and not holding a PIO card or any Indian Govt ID proof will be treated as a foreign national and should get the Inner Line Permit for their stay in Sikkim.; Changu Lake: The lake is oval in shape, 15 meters deep, and is considered sacred by the local people. It is also home to brahminy ducks. Its cool, placid water harmonizes with the scenic beauty around it. This placid lake remains frozen during the winter months up to mid-May. Nathu La Pass to the Republic of China is nearly 20 kilometres further and is an optional tour.

Itinerary

Day 01

Arrival and Transfer to Gangtok

Arrive at NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport (IXB). Our representative will meet you and transfer you to Gangtok, a drive of about 4-5 hours. The evening is free for your leisure.

Day 02

Excursion to Changu Lake and New Baba Mandir

After breakfast, start for an excursion to Changu Lake (12,400 ft.) and New Baba Mandir (13,200 ft.), 55 km from Gangtok city. This serene lake is situated at an altitude of 12,000 ft. on the Gangtok Nathu La highway. Evening free to roam around M G Road (Mall) and enjoy local shopping in Gangtok. Prior permission is required to visit Nathula Pass. Extra cost applies for an extended tour to Nathula.

Day 03

Gangtok to Darjeeling via Teesta and Lamahatta

8:30 AM: Continue to the next destination - Darjeeling. On the way, enjoy river rafting and visit the Teesta Rangeet viewpoint, Teesta Bazar, and Lamahatta Eco-Friendly Park. Travel time is 4-5 hours. The evening is free for leisure activities.

Day 04

Tiger Hill Sunrise and Darjeeling Sightseeing

4 AM-8 AM: Enjoy an early morning tour to Tiger Hill (at around 4 am) to admire the sunrise over Kanchenjunga Peak, subject to clear weather. On your way back, visit Batasia Loop and Ghoom Monastery. 7 Points: 9:30 AM-3:00 PM: After breakfast, set off on a city tour of Darjeeling. Departure from Darjeeling

Return drive from Darjeeling to NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport. The transfer covers 100 km and takes about 3-4 hours.
