1Day 01
Johannesburg to Greater Kruger via Dullstroom
Depart from Johannesburg and travel along some of the most scenic roads into South Africa's Lowveld region of Mpumalanga. Stop for brunch in the historic town of Dullstroom, known as the fly-fishing capital of Southern Africa and renowned for its trout dishes. Continue down the Drakensberg escarpment via Abel Erasmus Pass into the untamed Lowveld. The winding road passes high mountain cliffs and, if there has been rain, several waterfalls. We spend the next two nights at a lodge situated in a private reserve within the Greater Kruger National Park. Meals Included: Dinner (own lunch expense).

2Day 02
Bush Walk and Game Drive in Greater Kruger
Enjoy an early morning coffee and rusks as we watch the sunrise in the African wild. Embark on a bush walk this morning to experience how the animals move around and learn about the smaller, intricate details of how everything in nature fits together. We focus on the tracks and signs animals leave behind as they go about their daily lives, while your guide and tracker point out interesting facts along the way. If we encounter animals on our walk, it is a bonus, as their senses are usually much better than ours. Before the heat of the day sets in, we slowly make our way back to the lodge for brunch. Head out on an afternoon game drive later in the day as it starts cooling down, giving us an excellent opportunity to spot some of the more elusive animals. Keep your eyes open as we search for the wildlife that inhabits the area. Our guides are very well trained to spot animals and share great information with you during each encounter. Return to the lodge after the game drive and enjoy dinner, sharing stories around the campfire about the things we have seen today. Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner Accommodation: Greater Kruger National Park

3Day 03
Panorama Route and Blyde River Canyon to Hazyview
Wake up with the sun and enjoy a substantial breakfast before setting off. Explore the beauty of the famous Panorama Route, stopping at many of the highlights that gave it its name. One of today's highlights is the Blyde River Canyon, the third largest canyon in the world. Continue to Bourke's Luck Potholes and God's Window, then stop for lunch at your own expense in the tiny town of Graskop. The Panorama Route offers some of the most unique and captivating scenery in South Africa, and we spend a reasonable amount of time at each stop to make sure we enjoy what we see and get the full experience. Make your way to Hazyview in the afternoon, where you will settle in for the next two nights. Meals Included: Breakfast and Dinner (own lunch expense) Accommodation: Hazyview
