   From the Waterturm to Mannheim Castle

   We start at the landmark of Mannheim, the beautiful Waterturm. After a brief history of why this tower is so important to Mannheim and why Mannheim is so important to the rest of the world, we will take a five-minute walk into the main city. Along the way, we will encounter fountains, museums, a concert hall, and many restaurants, bars, and cafés that could be of interest to you. The guide will tell you which hotel, bar, or restaurant would be best for your needs and explain where to find anything in the city for whatever reason you are visiting. We will also stand above a bunker without you noticing it at first, which served as protection during World War II. It is a very large bunker in the city centre. Then the guide will show you the famous and beautiful "Little Istanbul" subculture. You will feel as though you are on holiday in Turkey for the next five minutes. Mannheim Castle, Europe's second-largest Baroque castle after Versailles, is a truly magnificent site with luxurious quarters inside. It is the ideal castle for anyone who wants to be astonished by the majesty of court life in the past. The splendour of this magnificent castle will remain in your memory for a long time, from the grand main staircase to the exquisite fresco ceilings, wonderful chandeliers, and amazing wall tapestries. From there, the guide will show you the main library and a beautiful church near the end of the tour.
