1Day 01
Journey to Erg Chigaga Desert
Meet your tour guide in Agadir and depart early in the morning for the Erg Chegaga Desert, passing through the city of Taroudant. Continue to Taliouine, known as the town of saffron production. After a few hours' drive, reach Taznakht for a lunch break. Drive across the gravel desert via Foum Zguid. This private desert trip leads across Lac Iriki, a dried-out lake in a solitary desert landscape glistening white in the sunshine, before reaching the immense dunes of Erg Chigaga. There are still nomads living here with herds of camels. Enjoy the rough beauty and endless vastness of the desert, and experience the constant change of light as the sun turns this archaic countryside into a bizarre dream landscape. End the day with a picturesque sunset from the back of a camel. Dinner and overnight in a nomad tent.
