1Day 01
Arrival and Drive to Cemoro Lawang
Meet the tour guide, who will pick you up from Juanda Airport or your hotel. Then drive for about 3 hours to Cemoro Lawang, the best viewpoint for seeing Mount Bromo and the Sea of Sand, and check in at the hotel. Accommodation will be at Cemara Indah, Bromo Permai, or Cafe Lava in Cemoro Lawang.

2Day 02
Sunrise at Mt Penanjakan and Mt Bromo Summit
Set out early in the morning to see the spectacular sunrise from Mt Penanjakan by 4WD jeep. From the summit of Mt Penanjakan, enjoy the magnificent views of Mt Semeru and Mt Bromo. Drive across the vast sandy area known as Lautan Pasir, or the Ocean of Sands, on the way to the summit of Mt Bromo. A well-marked concrete stairway leads to the edge of the great crater. From here, you can see the ocean-like sandy expanse and view the Hindu temple of the Tengger Tribe from Bromo. Afterwards, drive to Bondowoso, which takes around 5 hours. 3Day 03
Kawah Ijen Crater and Transfer to Ketapang or Surabaya
Drive a short distance early in the morning, well before sunrise, to the start of the trail leading to the beautiful active crater of Kawah Ijen volcano. To see the Blue Fire, you need to leave the accommodation at about midnight. The climb takes about 1 hour and leads to the famous blue acid lake, the most acidic in the world, as well as the hot, partly liquid sulphur deposits. The fumaroles are so hot that sulphur emerges as green vapour. After plenty of time for observation, leave the Ijen Plateau. Head to Ketapang Harbour, which takes around 2 hours, and then continue the drive to Surabaya, around 6-7 hours. Tour ends. Meal: B
