    Day 04

Drive to Nayapul and Trek to Tikhedunga

After breakfast at the hotel, we shall drive to Nayapul, which takes approximately one and a half hours. We then begin the first part of our hike to Tikhedunga (1577 m) via Birethanti (1065 m). This section of the trek is a fairly easy, mostly flat hike. We pass through several small, lively villages and settlements. After some time, we will ascend gently to the day's final destination.

  5. 5
    Day 05

    Trek through Ulleri to Ghorepani

We start our trek after having breakfast at the guest house. We ascend steeply for the first 2 hours. Then, we continue with a gentler ascent, passing through Ulleri (2070 m) and Banthanti. This path offers breathtaking views of Machhapuchhare or Fish Tail (6997 m), Hiunchuli (6441 m), and the grand Annapurna South (7219 m) along the way. Our trail then becomes relatively easygoing as we pass through rhododendron and shadowy forests amid the cackling of birds. This creates a wonderful feeling as we continue the gentle ascent to the final camp.

  6. 6
    Day 06

Poon Hill Sunrise and Trek to Tadapani

Today, we hike to Poon Hill (3232 m) to enjoy sunrise views over Mt. Dhaulagiri (8167 m), Tukuche Peak (6920 m), Nilgiri (6940 m), Varaha Shikhar (7847 m), Mt. Annapurna I (8091 m), Annapurna South (7219 m), Annapurna III (7855 m), Machhapuchhare (6993 m), Annapurna IV (7525 m), Annapurna II (7937 m), Lamjung Himal (6931 m), and many other snowcapped mountains in the morning. Poon Hill has always been a symbol of beauty for the Annapurna region. We then hike down to Ghorepani and have a hot breakfast at our lodge. After breakfast, we trek to Tadapani (2650 m). Most of the trail passes through blooming rhododendron forest. The beautiful flowers make the jungle colorful in spring when they bloom.

  7. 7
    Day 07

    Forest Trails to Chomrong

We will start trekking from the lodge after breakfast. We will enjoy our hike as we descend gently through rhododendron, oak, and other dense forests. We will hear the chirping of different types of birds on the way to Kimrung Khola. Then, we shall ascend steeply straight away. We will walk on a fairly level trail for 45 minutes, with some gentle steep sections in between. Finally, we reach Chomrong, the gateway to Annapurna Base Camp. Chomrong is a village situated at the base of the Himalchuli.

  8. 8
    Day 08

Chhomrong to Himalaya via Bamboo and Dovan

We start our trek after having a hot breakfast at the lodge. For the first 1.5 hours, the trail descends on a stone stairway. It then crosses the Chhomrong Khola on a suspension bridge. After that, the trail climbs out of the side valley. High above the Modi Khola on its west bank, the route passes through bamboo, rhododendron, and oak forests. Climbing further on a rocky path, we will reach Sinuwa at 2350 m. We then trek gently through the forest and descend a long, steep stone staircase into deep bamboo and rhododendron forests. This leads us to Bamboo, and from there we walk gently toward Dovan and Himalaya.

  9. 9
    Day 09

Trek into the Annapurna Sanctuary to Base Camp

We start our trek after having breakfast at the lodge. The valley widens and becomes less steep, and from here you can see the gates to the sanctuary. As the trail continues into the sanctum, it crosses two avalanche tracks on a narrow path that climbs up against the cliffs. After a short trek, we will arrive at Bagar (3310 m), a green meadow with abandoned hotels. The typical trail follows the left side of the valley. The path continues through alpine meadows, and our trail rises gently after some distance. After a short trek, we begin to approach Annapurna Base Camp at 4170 m. Congratulations - you have now reached Annapurna Base Camp, our holiday destination.

  10. 10
    Day 10

Explore Base Camp and Descend to Dovan

After breakfast at the guest house, we will visit the base camp and enjoy the surrounding views. The Himalayan scenery from the base camp is fantastic. Then, we will start trekking back to Dovan, which takes about six hours. It is much easier as we go down. You should be fine reaching Sinuwa from Annapurna Base Camp in a single day. However, we have chosen this route because some trekkers may have problems going down due to shaking or wobbling legs caused by fatigue.

  11. 11
    Day 11

Descend to Jhinudanda and Hot Springs

After having breakfast at the lodge, we start to walk. The path descends to Bamboo, passing through forests with varieties of rhododendrons, oaks, and bamboo plants. After Bamboo, the trail climbs steeply for an hour and is relatively flat until Sinuwa. We then trek gradually down to the Chhumrong Khola and follow a stone staircase for almost an hour to reach Chhumrong. The last part of the trail is steeply downhill to Jhinudanda. We will settle into our rooms at the guest house, and then we can go to the hot springs to take a refreshing bath in the warm natural waters.

  12. 12
    Day 12

Trek to Nayapul and Drive Back to Pokhara

After having breakfast at the hotel, we start our trek. The first part of the trek is downhill and then continues across flat land until Birethati. We will stop at Birethati for lunch. After walking about 30 minutes to Nayapul, our car or van will be waiting to take us back to civilization - Pokhara, the city of lakes and natural wonders.

  13. 13
    Day 13

Tourist Bus Journey from Pokhara to Kathmandu

We take a tourist bus at 7 AM after breakfast to drive to Kathmandu. The drive will be a fantastic experience as we pass many satellite towns along the way. We can see rural settlements, gushing rivers, terraces, and green rural landscapes. After about 6 hours of driving, we will arrive in Kathmandu.

  14. 14
    Day 14

    Departure Transfer to the Airport

You will be transferred to the international airport for your final departure to your loving home. We have taken pleasure in serving you throughout these weeks. You counted on us, and we did not let you down because we know how hard you have worked to enjoy this holiday.
