Saint Catherine Monastery and Dahab Shopping Trip
Early in the morning, you will be picked up from your hotel in Sharm El Sheikh and driven to Saint Catherine. Start your trip to this beautiful place with your guide. It has great significance for many faiths, including Christianity, Islam, and Judaism. The site is home to the oldest functioning Christian monastery, still inhabited by the same order of monks who constructed it in the 4th century. You will also see the burning bush, a mosque, and a bizarre room that contains the bones and skulls of all the monks who have ever lived there. There is also a piece of St Catherine's finger bone on display. Afterwards, continue to Dahab for lunch. Dahab is the main shopping area in South Sinai, where you can browse local Egyptian handicrafts, carpets, jewellery, perfumes, papyrus, and other souvenirs. At the end of the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel.
