Itinerary

Day 01

Arrival in Islamabad and Twin Cities Sightseeing

Arrive at Islamabad airport and transfer to the hotel. Later, enjoy sightseeing in the twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi. Overnight in Islamabad.

Day 02

Flight to Skardu and Trek to Fairy Meadows

Early in the morning, drive to Islamabad Airport to take a flight to Skardu. Drive from Skardu Airport to Raikot Bridge. From Raikot Bridge, switch to a 4x4 jeep and drive to Tato Village. Trek to Fairy Meadows (about 2 hours). Night stay at Fairy Meadows in camping tents or huts.

Day 03

Nanga Parbat Base Camp Trek

Walk along the Nanga Parbat glacier at an elevation of 13,000 ft. Make a short stop at Biyal, at the glacier crossing. Enjoy another view of Nanga Parbat. Continue the trek to base camp. Night stay at Fairy Meadows in camping tents or huts.

Day 04

Return from Fairy Meadows and Drive to Hunza

Trek back from Fairy Meadows to Tato Village. Drive by jeep from Tato Village to KKH (Raikot Bridge) alongside the Karakoram mountain range. On the way, enjoy beautiful views of villages in Nagar and Hunza, including Rakaposhi and Attabad Lake. Switch vehicles and continue driving to Borith Lake. Overnight at a resort in Borith Lake. Have dinner at a local house in Hunza and meet people from the community.

Day 05

Start the Patundas Trek to Luzdur

Early morning drive to Zero Point. Start the 4-day trek to Patundas Meadow from the beautiful Borith Lake, crossing the Passu White Glacier on the way. Take a break in Kouk for snacks. Cross the Passu Glacier. Overnight in Luzdur in tents.

Day 06

Steep Ascent from Luzdur to Patundas

Early morning trek from Luzdur to Patundas. This is a steep hike, ascending while leaving the white glacier beneath and Passu Peak beside you. Reach Patundas Meadow and enjoy amazing food. Overnight in tents or shepherd's huts, whichever you prefer.

Day 07

Hike to Yorch and Passu Peak Base Camp

Early morning hike to Yorch (Passu Peak base camp). Have light snacks. Start hiking back to camp. Overnight in tents in Patundas. Patundas is called the Table of Mountains, with the Passu and Batura glaciers on both sides, making it an amazing experience. Hike to the base camp of Passu Peak and view 8 different known peaks on the way.

Day 08

Descend to Luzdur and Return to Borith

Early morning trek and descend back to Luzdur. Cross the Passu Glacier and make a brief stop at Kouk for snacks. Return to Borith village while crossing the Passu Glacier for the second time. Overnight in a hotel at Borith Lake.

Day 09

Khunjerab Pass and Border Excursion

Early morning drive to Khunjerab Pass at the Pakistan-China border. On the way, stop at the Passu Cones viewpoint. Visit Sost Bazar. Cross Khunjerab National Park, where you may see Markhor, marmots, brown bears, or snow leopards if you are lucky. Depending on the available time, visit the Hussaini Suspension Bridge. Take pictures and walk around before driving back to Borith.

Day 10

Scenic Drive Back to Skardu

Early morning drive to Skardu, with stopovers at different locations along the way. Visit Junction Point, where three of the world's great mountain ranges meet, Attabad Lake, and the Rakaposhi viewpoint for snacks. Depending on the available time, visit Skardu Bazar. Overnight in Skardu.

Day 11

Fly to Islamabad and Evening at Leisure

Early in the morning, fly from Skardu to Islamabad. Pick up from Islamabad airport and transfer to the hotel. Later in the evening, have dinner in Islamabad. Overnight in Islamabad.

Day 12

Islamabad Landmarks and Departure

Visit the twin cities' landmarks, including Faisal Mosque, Pakistan Monument, and Raja Bazar. In the evening, transfer to the airport to fly back home.
