Arrival in Paro

Arrive at Paro International Airport. Meet and greet by your local representative. Transfer to your hotel in Paro and rest after your journey.

Tiger's Nest Monastery Acclimatization Hike

Embark on a 4 to 5-hour acclimatization hike to Taktsang Monastery, famously known as Tiger's Nest. Enjoy the spiritual atmosphere and panoramic views of the Paro Valley. Return to Paro and relax.

Day 03

Scenic Drive to Thimphu

Drive to Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan. Enjoy a short scenic drive through picturesque valleys. Explore local sites in Thimphu, including traditional markets and cultural landmarks.

Day 04

Thimphu to Punakha via Dochu-La Pass

Drive from Thimphu to Punakha via the Dochu-La Pass. Enjoy panoramic views of the Himalayas and visit the 108 chortens at the pass. Arrive in Punakha and explore the town or visit Punakha Dzong if time permits.

Punakha to Bumthang via Historic Trongsa

Begin a long scenic drive from Punakha to Bumthang. Pass through Trongsa, a historic town known for its impressive Dzong. Continue through beautiful valleys and landscapes.

Cultural Exploration of Bumthang

Explore the cultural and historical sites of Bumthang. Visit Jakar Dzong, ancient monasteries, and temples such as Jambay Lhakhang and Kurjey Lhakhang.

Trek to Ngang Lhakhang

Begin your trek through forests, villages, and farmlands. Hike for 5 to 6 hours to reach Ngang Lhakhang, known as the Swan Temple. Stay overnight in a local camp or guesthouse.

Trek to Ugyenchholing

Continue trekking through scenic forests, meadows, and ridges. Trek for 6 to 7 hours to reach Ugyenchholing, home to a historic manor and museum. Stay overnight in a local camp or guesthouse.

Day 09

Trek Back to Jakar

Trek from Ugyenchholing back to Jakar in Bumthang's main valley. Conclude your trek with a gradual descent through beautiful landscapes.

Day 10

Scenic Drive Back to Punakha

Drive from Bumthang back to Punakha. Pass through Trongsa and cross the Yotong-La Pass again. Enjoy the scenic journey through valleys and mountain passes.

Drive to Paro via Dochu-La Pass

Drive from Punakha to Paro. Stop again at the Dochu-La Pass to enjoy the views and the chortens. Arrive in Paro and relax.

Departure from Paro
