Ouzoud Waterfalls Excursion from Marrakech
This day trip starts with pickup at 09:00 am from your accommodation in Marrakech in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle, followed by a 3-hour drive to the Ouzoud Waterfalls. Located 170 km from Marrakech in the Middle Atlas, near Azilal province in M'goun Geopark, these cascades are among the most visited attractions and are highly recommended for a one-day trip from Marrakech. On the way, admire the landscapes of Berber villages. Upon arrival, discover the beauty of Morocco's highest waterfalls, at around 110 m. Meet a local guide who will take you on a guided trek around the cascades for a couple of hours, visit one of the old mills at the top of the falls, and ride a local boat to cross the river. You can reach the bottom of the falls via a shaded olive-tree path, where Barbary apes may greet you along the way. Enjoy a tasty Berber tagine at one of the local restaurant or café terraces. The Ouzoud Falls are also a popular site for Moroccans, especially in summer, as they are a perfect place for a refreshing swim, so bring your swimsuit. Please note that the area may be crowded on weekends. Your day trip ends in the afternoon as you head back to Marrakech, with drop-off at your accommodation in the Red City at around 6:00 pm.
